This video demonstrates how to use Hayes' Process macro (https://www.processmacro.org/index.html) for testing a path model that includes both mediation and moderation elements. In this model, the direct effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable is modeled as being moderated by a third variable.

The data and aspects of the example (although it is not a direct example) are derived from:

Zhou J., Yang, Y., Qiu, X., Yang, X., Pan H, Ban, B., et al. (2016) Relationship between anxiety and
burnout among Chinese physicians: A moderated mediation model. PLoS ONE 11(8): e0157013.

*Warning and suggestion: This presentation assumes you already have a reasonable understanding of moderated regression and mediation. If you are unfamiliar with these procedures, you may find aspects of this discussion difficult to follow. My suggestion is to review those other concepts first prior to considering use of Process Model 5. I have several presentations on these topics, which can be found at the following links:

Moderated regression: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gGJCX6rrAo , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZ2fl8exNTE
