Testing a Vevor 800W EDM machine designed for broken tap removal. There are several versions of this on Aliexpress and similar - my test part was simple enough to recreate, but wanted to know if in the future could have an easier way to remove a broken tap. In this case it broke off well inside the part because the upper half was a clearance hole, so removed from the "untapped" side instead (which wouldn't be possible with a normal tap remover). 0:00 - EDM Running 0:45 - Overview of Units and Parts 1:23 - User Manual 1:53 - Electrode Holder / Servo 2:44 - Removing Screws & Opening Main Unit 3:29 - Main PSU, "HF" Power 3:56 - Servo Driver Board 4:31 - Capacitors & Power Output Path 5:56 - Servo Driver Board Again 6:34 - Stepper Switch? 6:46 - Another Test EDM Run See a nice description in the comments by @ArionRaine for how the EDM/servo method works! Makes more sense when you see it!
