Textile art with blossom tree embroidery / STEP BY STEP video
This video shows the recorded creative process of making an textile art piece with blossom tree embroidery.
I used straight stitch for the trunk, branches and grass and French knot stitch for the blooming flowers. The embroidery base was made of batik scraps attached with Odif glue stick. I covered the back with a piece of G700 from Vlieseline and secured the edges with a zigzag stitch. For embroidery I used Aurifil WT12 cotton threads.
