Today, we’re setting off from Saphan Taksin BTS station, taking a stroll down Charoen Krung Road, headed for TALAD NOI – Bangkok’s hipster haven for street art enthusiasts and coffee addicts alike.
As we wander Charoen Krung Road, we’ll check out some of the murals that have basically turned the whole district of Bang Rak into one big open-air art gallery.
We pass the impressive Bangkok General Post Office on the way to our goal.
Our goal?
The quirky, chaotic little neighbourhood of Talad Noi.
Once a forgotten spot, it’s now Instagram gold, thanks to stunning street art, cozy cafes, fantastic street food, and, naturally, piles of car parts stacked in random “artistic” heaps. Because who doesn’t love a little greasy motor engine decor with their cappuccino?
So, grab your camera – Talad Noi is where Bangkok’s weird and wonderful come to life in full, glorious color.
