✝️ _“Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.”_ Psalm 100, New King James Version What better way to enjoy a Thanksgiving Dinner, than out on the trail. It may be cold and dreary here in the Pacific Northwest, but we still have much to be thankful for. This holiday season we counted our blessings as we strolled 2.5 miles past the gate on the Mountain Loop Highway to the Big Four Picnic Shelter where we enjoyed a semi-traditional Thanksgiving meal. After eating, we continued on the Big Four trail for about 1.25 miles to the base of Big Four Mountain with views of the famous Ice Caves. Overall, we hiked about 7.5 miles with 450 feet of elevation gain. 00:00 Intro 00:21 Meal Prep 06:37 Let's Hike ~ Road Walk 07:39 Thanksgiving Dinner 10:02 Let's Hike ~ Trail to Big Four Ice Caves More Information: ➡️ https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/big-four-ice-caves ➡️ https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/big-four-ice-caves-snowshoe ➡️ https://www.hikeoftheweek.com/2017/08/10/big-four-ice-caves/ "Leave No Trace" Guidelines: ➡️ https://www.nps.gov/articles/leave-no-trace-seven-principles.htm ➡️ https://lnt.org/why/7-principles/ ♥️ Thank you so much for watching.
