If there's something life has been teaching me these past few months, it's that things are far beyond your control and while you have to do your part to get where you want to go, the stars can sometimes align and present you with the perfect tools and materials to build what you could even imagine had they not been presented.
A great example for this, is my encounter with with, who was at the time, a total stranger named Andreas in a gym in Sayulita, Mexico. What started as a seemingly meaningless encounter between two people who just enjoy working out, turned into a discussion between a producer/sound engineer and a recording artist, struggling to squeeze out a few songs he had been writing while in Mexico. The kind man Andreas is, we set a date to meet up and get some recording time in on the roof of the complex I was staying at the time.
I could never have known that this day would produce such a great time, a genuine friendship and lovely recordings, the way it did.
