I have a 4-door Ford Torino from the model year 1970 and I think the Ford Torino is the most widely forgotten American Muscle Car from the late 1960s and early 1970s. In this video I’ll give a little history of how the Mustang descended from the heritage of the Falcon and the Torino came from the heritage of the Fairlane. Now that we’re well onto the 21st Century, those who collect 50-year-old Fords are likely to want Mustangs and nothing else. And I contend that the 4-door version of the Torino is the least popular of collectible cars, to the point where it isn’t really collectible at all. But here’s mine, and it’s in remarkably good shape.
This video is for anyone who enjoys and appreciates cars, especially classic cars and especially Fords. But I have the greatest respect for anyone who takes care of any cars, including Mustangs, Thunderbirds, Cougars, Falcons, Montegos, Fairlanes Rancheros and other Fords. And I extend my respect to those who care for Chrysler, Plymouth and other MOPAR machines like Chargers, Barracudas, Challengers, Darts and more. I even tip my hat to the fans of General Motors products like Buicks, Pontiacs, Chevys, Cadillacs, and their Firebirds, Trans Ams, Camaros, Chevelles, El Caminos, Impalas, GTOs and more! Happy motoring, everyone.
