With the most engine choices in the segment, a big bed that's finally up to American-standard sizes, an off-road Raptor, high towing/payload numbers, big screens, and low prices, this is the Ranger we should have had all along... And we should be thankful it's back and hasn't been replaced by the Maverick. Not that anything is wrong with Ford's smallest truck, far from it. In fact, the fuel-sipping Maverick and the more capable Ranger give the midsized truck segment a solid one-two punch. Get the Maverick if you want 40 MPG or even lower prices, get the Ranger if you want to tow a bigger boat or rock crawl on weekends.
