As my visit to the bustling city of Seattle drew to a close, my girlfriend Kendra was ecstatic to have won a bid on a classic Japanese Honda. The seller resided in a small town south of Modesto, California, which gave us the perfect opportunity for a road trip. With no specific destination in mind, I offered to drive her there and get the car. We set out from Seattle just as the rains that I had avoided for most of my visit started to fall.
We eventually reached Eugene, Oregon where we decided to spend the night before continuing our journey.
The next morning, we set out early with Kendra suggesting that I vlog our drive through the majestic Siskiyou Mountains. And she couldn't have been more right. The rugged peaks towered above us as we wound our way through the scenic route. Every turn revealed breathtaking views of lush forests mixed with the red and gold mountains.
As we approached Medford, Oregon, we decided to make a pit stop for lunch and for Kendra to get some tools in case the Honda needed work on the return trip to Seattle.
