The travel to the populated area that does not exist. “The settlement ZERO” – the film by Olga Selnitskaya about the settlement Polyarniy. Convicts of GULAG lived and worked here. Outstanding soviet geologists and geophysicists settled here later. Events of the All-union scale took place nearby - tests of medium- and short-range combat missiles. The settlement does not exist on the map today – residents were resettled in 2004. But, probably, Polyarniy will receive other new life.
