Learn how to make this very simple and delicious macaroni and cheese.
Ingredients:
1 box elbow macaroni
8 oz of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 box Velveeta, cubed
8 slices American cheese
1/2 stick of butter
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
4-5 cloves garlic, chopped
Directions:
1. Prepare pasta as directed for Al Dente
2. Sautee garlic in a sauce pan with 1 Tbs of butter for 30 secs. Add Velveeta, cheddar, and milk. Cook on low heat until cheese is melted and milk is incorporated. Add 4 slices of American cheese.
3. Once pasta is done pour into baking dish. Add 3-4 Tbs of butter. Season with salt and pepper. Add cream of chicken and mix until fully combined
4. Pour cheese sauce over pasta. Mix until combined. Tear the remaining American cheese slices into pieces. Press the pieces of cheese randomly into the pasta mixture.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 25 minutes.
