When Wednesday's (Lisa Loring) and Pugsley's (Ken Weatherwax) faith in Santa Claus is shaken, Uncle Fester (Jackie Coogan) is chosen to back up Santa in case the real St. Nick is too busy to come. However, Fester-Santa gets stuck in the chimney, so each of the other adults in the house decides to substitute for him.
