A breeching is a critical part of a riding saddle for most mules and horses when your riding steep up and down country. It keeps the saddle in place when going down hills. When adjusted properly it is priceless. When adjusted incorrectly it can spell trouble and soreness to your riding and pack animals. In this video I show you how I like my breeching to be adjusted and to ride on the hind quarters of my stock. I explain the parts and different buckle types.
