It's been exactly a year since I uploaded the video showcasing the Season 1 map, so I figured I'd do one that focused solely on the ambiance and atmosphere of the game back then.
I'll always believe that ambiance and atmosphere makes or breaks a game. Fortnite used to have such a relaxing and balanced atmosphere, and it's a huge part of why people enjoyed it so much more. It's a subconscious thing that people don't necessarily pay attention to, but they feel- it's like taking a walk through the forest and subconsciously hearing all the sounds and taking in the light rays through the trees, and it calms you down.
I wish I could've showcased the other sounds the game had, such as the looting sounds (which were personally my favorite, that lil "pop blop bddding!"), but unfortunately that's not possible.
