It looks at bonsai from an artistic perspective, exploring the aesthetics of bonsai trees in an attempt understand why they demand so much value. It provides an insight into what goes into keeping a bonsai healthy and the years of dedication that bonsai artists and masters endure when caring for an artwork that will outlive them.
