Reviewing the Xiaomi 15 Ultra (global model), sequel to the champion of smartphones, after a week of using it as my full-time phone. That Leica camera tech has been completely revamped, while the battery life has been boosted - but is the Xiaomi 15 Ultra the best phone of 2025? Well, it's certainly one of the most expensive at €1499.
Gone is the variable aperture camera setup, although this blower can still capture stunning portraits in all kinds of light. As long as your subject doesn't move too much. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is just as beefy as any other flagship Android, with the Snapdragon 8 Elite running things. So gamers will be happy enough, whether you play Genshin, Wuthering Waves or whatever.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra also serves up a bigger battery, if not as big as the OnePlus 13, OPPO Find X8 Pro etc. Life is good enough to keep you going all day, even with a fair bit of video chat, gaming etc. And you can recharge in no time thanks to the super-fast charge speeds.
So that's what I think of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra after reviewing it for a week. It's certainly one of the best phones of 2025, but value for money is another matter. Are you tempted? Let us know below!
