This is one of our favorite, the fry bread is just soooo delicious, tbh this is one of the first recipes I learned because my husband loves it, and I was blessed to have his mom to teach me how to make it, it never gets old. Enjoy while hot! 😉 if you DONT have an instant pot, no problem? boil water in a pot, add meat, onion, garlic, let it come to boil again, skim the foam formed on top of pot, reduce heat to medium, add salt, bouillon, and black perpper, cover and let it cook for 2-3 hours or until meat is nice and tender 😀 spice level will depend on the chiles you use Ingredients: 7-8 fry breads For the meat: 2.5 lbs chuck tender roast 1/2 garlic head 1/2 onion Salt i used 5 tsp 1 tbsp beef bouillon 1 tbsp black pepper 4 cups water for the sauce: 2 bay leaves 3 tbsp oil 3 tbsp flour 10 New Mexico chile pods chile árbol (optional) 3 garlic cloves 2 1/2 cups of broth 2 tsp New Mexico chile powder 1 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp whole cumin For the dough: 4 1/2 cups APF 2 tbsp shortening 2 cups warm milk 4 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 1 serving of love 💕 Want to see more of me and my family?
