In this episode we are exploring the city of Battambang located in the Northwest of Cambodia. We will stroll through the city streets and take a look at the beautiful pagodas as well as some of the best-preserved, French colonial architecture in the country.
We will also join a full day guided tour of Battambang’s countryside, during which we will take a ride on the old bamboo train, learn how to make and taste the bamboo sticky rice and Cambodian happy water (Rice wine). Join us as we explore the ruins of Wat Ek Phnom temple and finish our day climbing the Phom Sampov mountain as well as watching over 6.5 million bats leaving the cave at sunset!
