Helen, GA is a charming town in the North Georgia Mountains that is known for its Bavarian-style architecture, delicious food, and outdoor activities. It is the perfect place to spend a weekend getaway, and there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Start your day with a hike in the Chattahoochee National Forest. There are many great trails to choose from, including the Anna Ruby Falls Trail, the Unicoi Mountain Trail, and the Panther Creek Falls Trail. After your hike, enjoy a delicious lunch at one of Helen's many Bavarian restaurants. In the afternoon, take a stroll down Main Street and do some shopping. Be sure to stop at the Helen Chamber of Commerce for a free map and visitor's guide. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Bavarian dinner at the Gasthof Edelweiss.
