Bunting has been drastically declining over the past century of baseball. This is for good reason, however, I think we may have gone too far. The bunt actually might be a lot more useful than what the usage says. Should teams be bunting more? Can the sacrifice bunt actually work given the right time? These questions pose an interesting discussion about the current state of the bunt in Major League Baseball.
