In the Nambia Desert of South Africa, I believe the continent not the country, a group of prospectors are out there looking for diamonds. As they do they run across warnings in the surrounding area about a creature known as the sand mother. It steals the bones of creatures and uses them to hunt others. As they continue to encroach upon this territory, they end up finding exactly what the warnings were trying to explain to them.
