Nestled atop a hillside in Maryland this beautiful old gothic vernacular brick house was built around 1855-1860 just before the onset of the civil war. It features stunning floor to ceiling windows on the first floor of the home and a steep gothic pitched gable on the front of the house. Entering into the front door you are greeted by a large staircase and two flanking rooms with hand carved wooden fireplace mantles. Wallpaper falling down in long sleeves along the plaster walls. Scribbles of old names and past lives lived in the home from former occupants adorn the walls of the attic. The house remains strangely untouched and intact from vandalism, only time and lack of love seem to be the culprit of her destitution. Thanks for watching
