From the roaring spray of Victoria Falls, cascading into misty rainbows, to the vast expanse of the Namib Desert, where endless dunes stretch like waves of crimson sand beneath an infinite sky — The Bush to Desert Expedition 2024 was a journey through Southern Africa's most breathtaking and iconic landscapes. Starting at the mighty Zambezi River and the bird-filled Chobe riverfront, home to the world's largest elephant population, our adventure led us to the Savuti plains, where lions hunt elephants by night. We navigated the life-giving waterways of the Okavango Delta, witnessing thrilling encounters between predators. From there, we pressed on through the sun-scorched expanse of the Kalahari, explored Etosha's shimmering white plains, crossed Damaraland's rugged terrain, and journeyed along the stark, wind-swept Skeleton Coast, where the cold Benguela Current sweeps the Atlantic shores, before finally reaching the towering dunes of the Namib Desert — covering nearly 5,000km of pure adventure. Fueled by spicy seeni sambol sandwiches, freshly baked peanut butter cookies straight off the campfire, and crisp craft Namibian gin enjoyed under star-filled skies, every moment was a celebration of the wild. From sunrise drives to sunset toasts and laughter shared with friends who feel like family, this journey was filled with unforgettable memories etched in our hearts. We gathered countless stories along the way and can't wait to share this incredible journey with you. We'll be showcasing it all (or at least doing our best) in this YouTube series — so be sure to subscribe and join us for the adventure! Words by: Zaineb Akbarally Copyrights belong to Artist
