The Chiricahuas - Heart of Rocks, Inspiration Point & The Grotto

Chiricahua National Monument is a highly under-rated and relatively unknown area in Southeastern Arizona. The area is extremely unique. There are pine trees, coatimundi, insane hoodoos and even jaguars. Yes, Arizona has jaguars. You're probably not gonna see them, but that's fine with me because I'm pretty sure humans are on the jaguar menu.

But that's not why we went. We went for the rock formations. The Chiricahuas are best known for thousands of wild looking hoodoos and balanced rocks. When you look it up online, odds are your reaction will be like mine was "Eh, looks kinda boring." There are some areas that just don't photograph well, and this is one of those places. And yet it is absolutely amazing in person. (Sort of like White Sands or Petrified Forest.) If you're looking at pictures and thinking I'm crazy, just trust me.

Anyway, that's enough writing for now. I have to wrap up another video and pack to head out of town again for another adventure.
