The Coledale Horseshoe | Cold, Wild and Windy Hike & Wild Camp
This was a cracking 2 day hike and wild camp taking on the Coledale Horseshoe in the Lake District, tackling 14 incredible summits in some of the windiest conditions I’ve ever camped in! 🌪️💨. I was joined by two great mates and fellow YouTubers, Alan (@bushmanandblue) and Andy (@BackpackingUK), as we set off on this classic Lakeland route, summiting:

🌪️ Extreme Weather & Tent Fail! 🌪️
The wind was relentless throughout the hike, making for some seriously tough conditions. But things got really interesting at our wild camp on Crag Hill when Andy’s (BackpackingUK) tent pole SNAPPED in the wind! Luckily, we managed to fix it, and despite the conditions, we had an unforgettable night in the fells.
This trip had everything – brutal winds, epic ridge walks, insane views, and proper adventure vibes! If you love hiking, wild camping, and pushing yourself in the mountains, this is one you don’t want to miss!
