FINALLY. I'm sorry that it took such a long time for me to post a video, but I was working on this beast.
When I started this video I assumed that it wouldn't be very long, considering my knowledge of the subject told me it was a pretty straight forward, and not too complicated. However, the further I dug for sources and images the more and more information I unearthed, meaning that this video has been re-edited more times than I can count on one hand - hence why the narration is a bit choppy.

We have now found cummervests as early an 1896!!
