Well friends the day has come to make a swooshy cape with the leftover fabric from my 1895 walking skirt. This is a self drafted pattern, but since I found cape patterns from over 100 years ago that were essentially a circle cape with extra steps, I went with a super basic draft. Everything that could go wrong with a cape, did go wrong, and I still can’t figure out why. Thankfully, I was able to fix every hiccup and ended up with a super awesome swooshy cape.
