國立台灣博物館鐵道部園區座落於原台灣總督府鐵道部廳舍，其中主廳舍、食堂、八角樓、電源室、工務室、戰時指揮中心等建築為國定古蹟，臺北工場、清代機器局遺構、石板路為市定古蹟。鐵道部園區設有三個展覽區，展出鐵道相關文史及各種特展。
The Department of Railways Park of the National Taiwan Museum is located in the former Department of Railways of the Government of Taiwan. Among them, the main office building, Canteen, Octagonal building, Power Supply Room, Engineering Office, and Wartime Command Center are national monuments. The Taipei factory, Remains of Qing Dynasty Machinery Bureau and the Flagstone Path are city-designated historic sites. There are three exhibition areas in the park of the Department of Railways, displaying railway-related literature and history and various special exhibitions.
