In this video, I compare my newly arrived Analogue Productions 45 of the Doors 1967 debut album with two previous audiophile editions, and give my impressions on the differences I heard. The AP is my second of the Doors 45 Series, which are mastered by Doug Sax, and pressed at QRP. The other two are the original Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab edition, half speed mastered by Stan Ricker from the original master tape and pressed on JVC Supervinyl, and the DCC Compact Classics, an all analog tube cut by Steve Hoffman also from the original master tape.
