Banana Bread Does anyone else have a supreme love for pastries? I have always loved baked goods. Lord knows I don’t need them, as I am trying to maintain my small figure. Sometimes I just cant resist my chronic sweet tooth. With that being said, today we are making Banana Bread. Banana bread is DELICIOUS. Perfect as a breakfast or evening pastry with coffee or tea. I had never actually made banana bread before this tutorial but it came out great. So if you’re looking to use up those brown or black bananas then this recipe is FOR YOU! QUICK question: Do you prefer more RIPE bananas, or are you more of an UNRIPE type of banana consumer? Or do you NOT care for bananas at all? Just curious, let me know down in the comments what your preference is. If you have any suggestions or would like to see something featured on my channel, let me know and I will execute. BANANA BREAD- Ingredients: 3 ripened Bananas ½ cup / 1 stick Butter 2 Eggs 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 2 cups All-Purpose Flour 1 cup Granulated Sugar 1 tsp Baking Soda ½ tsp Salt 1 tsp Cinnamon 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans) OPTIONAL Instructions: -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a loaf pan with cooking spray, butter, or line with parchment paper. Melt the stick of butter in the oven or microwave for about 20-30 seconds. Starting off with peeling and smashing the bananas with a fork, leaving a few chunks for texture, add the melted butter to the mashed bananas and mix carefully. Add the vanilla extract and eggs, mix ingredients until all is fully incorporated and no yellow streaks remain. -In a separate larger bowl, sift and whisk all dry ingredients together: flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. After all ingredients are mixed well, create a well in the center and pour banana batter in. -Use a spatula, preferably, to FOLD everything together until just combined. Its important not to overmix at this point to avoid the bread becoming tough. You will know that everything is incorporated fully when no more streaks of flour are visible. -Pour the batter into your GREASED loaf pan, leave at least an inch of room to allow the bread to rise during the baking process. Bake for about 45-55 minutes, insert a knife in the center to check at about 50 minutes in. -Allow the banana bread to cool on a wired rack for at least 30-45 minutes. Take a butter knife in between the bread and the loaf pan to release the sides. Also, use the spatula to do the same thing, shoving the spatula up under the loaf to release the bread from the pan. Flip over onto a plate and slice to your preferred thickness. Best served warm.
