In today's lesson, I'm sharing some basic acoustic blues techniques in the key of E. I'll show you how to create a swampy, John Lee Hooker-style sound using simple chord progressions and fingerpicking patterns.
We'll work with E7, A7, and B7 chords, focusing on a thumb-driven shuffle rhythm without a pick for that authentic acoustic blues feel. I demonstrate how to move between positions while maintaining the groove, and add some variations to keep it interesting.
