Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 cup salsa
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 package taco seasoning
2 cups crushed tortilla chips
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Brown ground beef and onions in a large skillet. Drain any grease in the pan. Stir in the salsa, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning. Remove from the heat at this time. Spread half of the meat mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish. Cover with 1 cup of the crushed tortilla chips. Sprinkle cheeses over the chips. Repeat the layers. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake casserole for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and casserole is heated through.
