The Ek Knife; little known today, an Ek knife was a prize blade sought after by US troops in WW2. The Ek knife was created by John Ek, a patriotic citizen unable to enlist but determined to contribute to the war effort. Ek knives were known as some of the toughest, strongest blades you could find on the WW2 battlefield and served on land, in the air, and on the sea. While the Style 1 Ek knife remains the most well known, there was actually a series of different Ek knives produced for soldiers to procure. Today the Knife Life delves in the Ek Commando knife!
