In this televised masterclass, Yehudi Menuhin talks about his experiences with the Elgar Violin Concerto as renowned Australian violinist Desmond Bradley plays excerpts, accompanied by pianist Geoffrey Parsons. Both Menuhin and Bradley were pupils of the great George Enescu, whose other notable students included Arthur Grumiaux, Ivry Gitlis, Ida Haendel and Christian Ferras. An interesting piece of violin history which also features violinist Anthony Saltmarsh.
