アンダルシアの坑夫たちの嘆きの歌(=A Lamentations of the Andalusian Miners)
『カンテ・ミネロ・レバティノ（東方の鉱山の歌）』または『カンテ・レバンテ』と呼ばれている曲種の中で最も名高い曲『タランタ』は"タランテロ "と呼ばれる鉱夫たちの嘆きの歌だといわれる。

起源地はアンダルシア東部の町アルメリア。古いファンダンゴから『タランタ』が生み出され、その後リズムが自由な『タランタ』の形式から、2拍子のはっきりした強いアクセントを持つコンパスに変わった曲『タラント』が生まれた。『タラント』はカンテ・レバンテの中で舞踊を伴なう唯一の曲となった。この当時、アルメリアの住民は俗語で「タランタ」と呼ばれていた。本来のカンテ・フラメンコでなく生まれた『タランタ』は、19世紀の半ば頃にはフラメンコの影響を受けて現在の姿になっていった。
『タラント』 "は "カンテス・ミネロス"（ファンダンゴ、タラント、タランタ）に含まれ、19世紀から20世紀にかけてアルメリアのフラメンコの夜、"フラリト"（サント・ドミンゴ広場）、"エスパーニャ"（セバスチャン・ペレス通り、現在のラダ将軍）、"リヨン・デ・オロ "の3つのカフェで発展した。
フラメンコクラブ "エル・タラント "は、この伝統を維持する役割を担っている。舞踊に関してはカルメン・アマヤが "タラント "の母とされている。
ちなみに福岡県の民謡で、三井炭坑の上に月が出たと歌う『炭坑節』とかなり近しい歌であると言えよう。

The origin is Almeria, a town in eastern Andalusia. The old fandango gave birth to the "Taranto," a song that later changed from the free-rhythmic form of the "Taranto" to a compass with a clear and strong accent in two beats. The "Taranto" became the only piece of cante levante to be accompanied by dance. At that time, the inhabitants of Almería were called "tarantas" in slang. Taranto" was born not in its original cante flamenco form, but by the middle of the 19th century, it was influenced by flamenco and took on its present form.
The "taranto" is part of the "cante mineros" (fandango, taranto, and taranta), and developed during the 19th and 20th centuries in Almería's flamenco nights, "fralito" (Plaza Santo Domingo), "españa" (Calle Sebastián Pérez, now General Rada), and "Lyón de Oro." It developed with three cafes.
The flamenco club "El Taranto" is responsible for maintaining this tradition. As for the dance, Carmen Amaya is considered the mother of "Taranto".
Incidentally, this song is quite close to "Tankobushi," a Fukuoka folk song about the moon rising over the Mitsui coal mine.
