Did someone say Elwood Engel? I swear I heard someone say Elwood Engel. This gorgeous, yet understated car clearly bears his mark. From the (mostly) flat slab sides, the (mostly) flat windshield, the uninterrupted body lines, and the no-nonsense straight line styling of the grille opening and tail light panel to the conventional interior appointments, this car recalls the time period when Elwood "righted the ship" at Chrysler, and round filed Exner's unique and over-the-top designs in favor of something completely different. Specifically, kinda boring (but handsome) rectangles. Anyway, it's a 60s Chrysler product, it's got a big block, and it's blue. What more could you really want? Oh, and if you noticed the nod toward "the last of the interceptors," you get a cookie.
