Today, we are going on a journey to look at the rather bizarre case that plagued the Wesley family in Epworth in 1717. A very historic case but one of the most compelling and interesting accounts of a poltergeist stems back three centuries! It is a story steeped in religion, superstition, family and the unexplained. Some of the language is rather old fashioned, but I’d rather include the reports from the time.
Some of the stories focus on historic events and I hope you feel that my video covers the sad side of history in a respectful and honest way, without the need for sensationalising the past. There is a mention of infant mortality in this video.
