Jehovah's Witnesses claim that 1914 is when Jesus came invisibly and that year started the "Generation" mentioned at Matthew 24. That particular teaching is what kept all Witnesses in expectation of the end being "right around the corner". However, with the changing doctrines and teachings Jehovah's Witnesses have lost that urgency to preach about the end. Here is what Witnesses are seeing now along with the Watchtowers six explanations of the "Generation" in 50 years. Why does the Watchtower organization continue to change who the "Generation" of Matt 24 is? So far I have had six completely different explanations. Every time we get a new explanation the time gets extended out. The most recent change was in 2010.
