Celica Map 1 is the soundtrack played on Celica's route in Fire Emblem Gaiden, a Famicom game released in 1992.
Nearly two decades later, it had a new version of the soundtrack for the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl, a game released in 2008 for the Nintendo Wii. The track has Spanish music influences.
(This soundtrack will later on inspire another track in the next ten years, I considered adding it on this Evolution of Music video, but I decided not to in the end. It's titled Chasing the Wind on the Plains, or Mila's Ordeal. It's the remake version of Celica Map 2 in Fire Emblem Gaiden; it plays when there's few enemies left in the map. The track was likely inspired from the Brawl version of With Mila's Divine Protection.)
After nearly another decade, Fire Emblem Gaiden had its eventual remake. titled Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, released in Spring 2017 for the Nintendo 3DS by Intelligent Systems. With Mila's Divine Protection would have two versions in the game, one is the Prologue version that plays in Celica's earlier maps; and the original version, which plays as her second battle soundtrack.
And two years after it's remake was released, an album titled Fire Emblem Premium Arrange was released in March 2019, later be performed live for the Fire Emblem Expo 2019 as their main attraction for the event. With it are fifteen (15) tracks, that including two Shadows of Valentia soundtracks. One is What Lies at the End, the other, this track. It is a jazz rendition of this soundtrack and is easily one of the best tracks in the album.
And there we have it! The Evolution of With Mila's Divine Protection. This soundtrack became famous with it's Brawl version, Celica es muy hermosa! Alm me dijo esto. Thank you for EVEN making it this far from reading my crappy history lesson stuff.
This was voted by a poll on my Twitter page to decide which video I should do next for the series. No, I did not influence my followers to vote for this, I just happened to put this on the poll and I'm like, WHY DID I DO THAT? I might as well do EVERY single music done by SoV at this point if I'm doing this.. but I won't, despite it being tempting.
