GiGi Wu, the Taiwanese social media star known as the “Bikini Climber” was known on Facebook for posting pictures atop mountain summits in only a bikini. GiGi Wu, 36, was eight days into a solo hike Saturday when she used a satellite phone to her friend, who then contacted emergency services to rescue the "Bikini Cimber". But poor weather prevented rescuers from deploying a helicopter to search for her until more than a day later. She fell down a ravine in central Taiwan’s Yushan National Park and was unable to move because of a leg injury. Wu was seriously injured after the fall. And temperatures were dropping rapidly.
