Canyon claims it has the fastest bike in the WorldTour peloton now with this new, fourth generation Aeroad, which features not one but two sets of adjustable drops. The bike comes with standard Classic drops - which you can adjust for width - and then you can buy Aero drops that are, surprise, narrower and aero-er with a longer reach, and which save a claimed 14w at 45kph.
In this video, I’ll tell you about more of Canyon’s claims, my experience riding this bike the last couple of weeks with both sets of drops, what I like, what I love, and what makes me bananas about some elements of this highly engineered Canyon design.
