In early 2004, a handful of employees in office buildings around the world were recipients to a strange email containing an attachment. Little did they know that they were about to become patient zero to what is still considered the fastest growing computer virus in history. The worm has simply been referred to as MyDoom, (or Novarg) and it infected over 250,000 computers in just one day, and caused over $38 billion in damage, even shutting down several websites for as long as a whole month.
