In which I snarkily assess an incredibly expensive camcorder of yore. I'll admit I might have been a bit harsh on it, but even if it's better than I give it credit for, I still think JVC's motives here were not what they should have been.

Special note! I bought a new camera and I am very much still getting used to it. It took me three days to color grade this into something resembling consistency, and it's still all over the place. I'll get better in the future, especially with new glass - I shot this on a Canon kit lens and an adapted off-brand F-mount that I just, you know, had around.
