Episode 379 welcomes KISHIDAN, who continues to profoundly impact the Japanese rock scene, back to THE FIRST TAKE. “Tomoyo” (My Friend), the track they will perform, was included in their 2007 album release SIX SENSES and was also rerecorded as the coupling track to their single “Kenka Joutou” (Itching For A Fight) in 2014. The song holds a special place in the hearts of KISHIDAN and was performed as the opening number to Sho Ayanokoji’s comeback show after returning from his 8-month hiatus, during which he was undergoing treatment for chorditis. Enjoy this one-shot performance in which the band emphasize the importance of everlasting friendship that withstands the test of time.
