Angela Aki, who has resumed her musical career in Japan after a decade-long break from the limelight, will make her first appearance on THE FIRST TAKE.
She will perform “Tegami-Haikei Juugo No Kimi E-,” the ever-popular song that continues to be sung at choir events and graduations across the country since its initial release in 2008.
For the first performance of this song in 10 years, Angela Aki will take the stage with the 9th graders from Otsuma Nakano Junior High School, who have won the gold prize for 2 consecutive years at the 2022 and 2023 The NHK All-Japan School Choir Competition.
