Before Super Nintendo World, there was Nintendo Land—Nintendo’s first virtual amusement park for the Wii U. But as the console faded into obscurity, so did this charming gem. Today, I’m stepping back into the park to see how it holds up in 2024.
I didn't think Mario Chase and the frustration of Yoshi’s Fruit Cart would be as nostalgic as they were. Anyway, I’m taking on every attraction this park has to offer. Along the way, we’ll explore some behind-the-scenes trivia, a bit of Nintendo history, and maybe even uncover the park’s surprising finale—Nintendo Land has an actual ending! Time to give Nintendo Land the send-off it deserves.
