The movie 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi is an action-thriller film directed by Michael Bay and based on the true story of the book 13 Hours by Mitchell Zuckoff. It tells the story of the attack on the United States consulate in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012, and the struggle of an elite security team to protect the Americans trapped there.

The story centers on six ex-military members of the CIA contractor's security team, the Global Response Staff (GRS). They are tasked with protecting a secret CIA facility in Benghazi. When Islamic militants attack the US consulate and kill Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and a staff member, the GRS team led by Tyrone “Rone” Woods and Jack Silva decide to act despite orders to stay out of it.

They launched a dangerous rescue mission to the consulate and then defended the CIA compound from the continuing attacks. With a much larger number of enemies, they fought with incredible bravery. Unfortunately, in this battle, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, fellow GRS members, were killed by a mortar attack.

Finally, help arrived too late, and the survivors were evacuated from Libya. The movie highlights the courage, camaraderie, and sacrifice of soldiers who risked their lives to save others in a chaotic and uncertain situation.
