The Great Divide Trail (GDT) is Canada’s premier long distance trail, following the great Continental Divide along the Canadian Rockies. I took 2 weeks in July 2024 to thru hike Section C: Kananaskis to Field -- a stellar 150 mile section of the trail through some of Canada’s most iconic parks including Banff, Assiniboine, Kootenay, Yoho, Peter Lougheed, and the Height of the Rockies. I was super stoked to embark on another long distance backpacking trip—and my first adventure out of the country since pre-Covid. Feel free to message me with any questions or comments below!
