The Great Turkish War is not without a reason remembered as the Last Crusade. This war against the Ottoman Empire, which had been going on for far more than a century, briefly united Europe in the desire to quench the Ottomans' appetite for conquest. And although there were enough Ottoman allies in Europe, such as Emeric Thököly of Hungary, who actively opposed the Habsburg rule, this did not overcome the power of the Holy League, which methodically weakened the Ottoman Empire on several fronts.
This war is remembered for many events. It was here that the famous Battle of Vienna, the Second Battle of Mohács and the Battle of Zenta took place. In this video, we will tell in detail about all the battles and events that accompanied the Great Turkish War, show why the Ottomans ultimately lost, and how Europe defended its Christian ideals for the last time.
