Yesterday, Alstom invited RailAdvent over to Derby to officially launch The Greatest Gathering!
We start off this video at Derby station as we see some of the visitors arriving: 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley, 37800 and 57307 along with 390016 - a first visit to Derby for the class!
We then head to Litchurch Lane Works, where we hear from the officials on their plans for The Greatest Gathering as well as see 390016 (390200) officially named Railway 200!
We then head outside to see a whistle up and have a good look round the visiting locomotives before heading on a Class 701 on the test track and then finish off our tour with a cab ride onboard 50049!
Finishing the video off, we head back to Derby as some of the visitors make their way home.

Tickets will be available next week after issues with the ticket retailer's website but will cost £30 for adult and £15 for children.
